Saturday, March 29th was the first day for season pass processing. I have heard that lines were sporadic and almost non-existent. Much of this is probably due to minimal advertising by SFNO. I have posted some new pictures of the DC Comics Superheroes Adventure area which shows the progress of its construction. Judging from these photos, SFNO has a lot of work to do to get this area near completion by next weekend's grand opening. I believe they will get all the DC rides up and running though.

March 29, 2003 - 2:30pm
SFNO's newest water fountain is in Main Street Square (formerly the Jazz Fountain). The new fountain has dancing water effects and changes colors. Check out the video of the fountain in action.

On Friday night, March 28th, Six Flags New Orleans hosted a private party for H&R Block employees and their families. All of the old rides were operating in Mardi Gras except for Krazy Krewe. A couple of rides in Cajun Country and Pontchartrain Beach were also operating. None of the new rides were in operation, but we did manage to get some GREAT photos of the new transformation, including Batman: The Ride, The Jester, the newly transformed Looney Tunes Adventure and more.

Six Flags New Orleans mailed out a flyer to previous pass holders and targeted customers advertising the transformed park and season passes. You can check out shots of the flyer in the photo gallery.
