I have added a new album to the gallery. This album contains photos that were taken at Six Flags America by Montanamystique. SFA is a very nicely themed park and has a Superman: Ride of Steel Intamin hyper coaster. Check out 36 photos of this fairly new Six Flags park (since 1999).

I have added a new Dixie Landin' Amusement Park album to the gallery courtesy of Tron. Although this is a small park compared to SFNO, this park combined with Blue Bayou Waterpark and a combined season pass price of $49.99 is a great deal.

Also, SFNO will be hosting a "Bruce Wayne" day at the park on Friday, August 8th. Check out more details in the news and rumors page.

I have added a new Blue Bayou Waterpark album to the gallery. Courtesy of Tron, these photos really capture the beauty of this established park in Baton Rouge. If SFNO builds a waterpark in the future, they will need to do a great job if they are to compete with Blue Bayou.

I have added a new album to the gallery. These great photos come courtesy of Montanamystique. The album includes a picture of the Air Boat in action along with 50 other great photos throughout the park. Check out the latest album in the gallery.

I have added 5 new ride videos to the 2003 Season Videos gallery. All of them are full length or near full length videos of the following rides: Batman: The Ride, The Jester, Lex Luthor's Invertatron, Joker's Jukebox and Catwoman's Whip.

July 12, 2003 - 5:30pm
The Air Boat, an upcharge ride, has finally opened on the lake by Pontchartrain Beach. The price is $10 per person and the boat makes several laps around the lake, making fish tales and other maneuvers during the ride. The boat can be heard throughout the park and parking lot. This is a very unique ride for an amusement park and hopefully will be a draw for the park in addition to the other new rides this season.

I have added a new photo album to the gallery. These pictures were taken at Six Flags over Georgia in 1999 by The Kid. This is one of the more beautifully landscaped Six Flags parks with its' hilly terrain. SFOG has added a few new rides since 1999, including Superman: Ultimate Flight (a B&M flying coaster), Deja Vu (a Vekoma Super Inverted Boomerang) and Acrophobia (an Intamin standup freefall tower). Check out the new photos in the gallery.

July 4th at SFNO was a rather wet day, but the weather seemed to clear up after 5 pm and the fireworks went off without a hitch at 9 pm. The weather kept the crowds away from the park during the day but by the time the fireworks went off, the park midways were pretty full. Check out the latest album for the fireworks and a few other interesting night shots.

I have added a new album to the gallery. This album consists of some interesting photos from throughout the park taken on June 6th.

Also, the park will be having a fireworks show for the 4th of July celebration this Friday. This weekend is also "Bring-a-Friend for half off" days for season pass holders. Check your calendars for the coupon and bring your friends.
